| The City of Centennial in partnership with the South Metro Chamber of Commerce has scheduled two sales tax seminars to educate businesses on the collection of sales tax in the City. Due to Centennial becoming a Home Rule City, effective January 1, 2009, retailers were required to have Biennial Retailers Sales Tax license, collect and remit Centennial sales tax to the City.
Topics for the seminar are:
City of Centennial Sales Tax
- History of Centennial Sales Tax
- Retail Sales Tax License Requirement
- What’s Taxable and What’s Exempt
- Records to keep
- Filing a tax return
The same topics will be discussed both days. There is no need to attend both seminars.
